Retail and Fashion Recruitment Agencies

Fashion and retail recruitment agencies have been in the business for well over two decades now. Although the industry is fairly new, it has gained massive popularity particularly with young professionals.

Brands such as Burberry, Marks & Spencer, Next Plc, and ASOS are some of the biggest employers in fashion retail.  There are currently over 400,000 people employed in the sector. Over 59,000 of these are in retail of footwear and leather goods. Individual employees in fashion and retail contribute around £40,000 annually to the country’s economy.

Although it is not a traditional sector, it has been greatly boosted by tourism and fashion events such as the London Fashion Week. Aside from traditional women’s clothing, men’s fashion retail is also growing rapidly. World famous shopping destinations have also given the industry a boost. These include the Savile Row, Oxford street and malls carrying reputable brands located around the country.

Some of the world’s leading fashion brands employ the use of recruitment agencies to fill positions such as buying and merchandising, retail operations, design, digital, and creatives among others. Fashion and retail employment firms scour thousands of applications to find you candidates who will offer your clients personalised and customer-focused services.
